FACTS
The faculty of Commerce was introduced in 1980. BMS and Computer Science were introduced in 1999, BMM and Biotechnology in 2002, and Banking & Insurance in 2003.
Jai Hind College was established in 1948 by a small band of teachers who worked at D J Sind College, Karachi.

Curriculum
|
- The college admits students who have completed the matriculation examination to its Junior College for a period of two years, offering the three streams viz. Arts, Science and Commerce. At the end of two years, the students are sent up for a public examination conducted by the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education.
Students passing the HSC examination are admitted to the Degree College for the three year under-graduate course leading to the following degrees:
B.A.
B.Sc.
B.Com.
B.M.S.
B.M.M.
To keep pace with changing times, the college has introduced the following subjects for the Science and Commerce students:
Computer Science (B.Sc.)
Biotechnology (B.Sc.)
